Wow, you guys! This rainy day wedding, held at the gorgeous Parmesans Station, located smack dab in the center of the Tinley Park Train Station is everything you need to kick this week off right! For all the couples out there worried about rain on their wedding day – please let this wedding be an example of how, come rain or shine you can still have the wedding of your dreams!
Janelle and I first met over a FaceTime conversation during the summer. After that first meeting, I was so excited for the vision she had in mind. From what originally was planned to be a completely outdoor ceremony in the woods, how could I not be?! As we got closer and closer to their actual wedding date, it became clear weather was going to an element we had to work around. On the week of, everything had to get switched to inside. Thankfully the reception was always going to be indoors, so having the ceremony inside was only natural.
Little did we know, this was about to be some of the craziest rain we had ever seen! If I could compare it to anything it would be rain’s version of a “white out” when it snows. I mean, this was some intense stuff. But literally out of no where, in the moments we needed it most, it cleared up just enough to peek our heads outside for some of my all time favorite bride and groom photos.
There are so many beautiful moments from Janelle and Kenneth’s wedding day. A few of my favorites were their first look, watching Ken watch Janelle come down the isle, when they jumped the broom after their first kiss, and once again those bride and groom photos! All the heart eyes!!! Can I also just say, seeing Candace Carson’s work all over the place was nothing short of another highlight for me. I’m more, or less obsessed with her work. The most fun was when a soul train line was formed during the reception! I’m going to need to see that happen at more wedding receptions from here on out! ????????????
Janelle and Ken, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day! I hope you love these pictures as much as I do ❤️❤️
