Where do I even begin?! This day was MAGICAL, and so special to witness. While I seriously do love every couple, and every wedding equally – this one had that special something that will remain in my heart for a long time to come.
Sarah reached out to me last year, and to no one’s surprise it was while she was looking for someone to capture her hot air balloon elopement. She really wanted a photographer who knew how to capture weddings, but had experience working with hot air balloons! Huzzah! Thank you Instagram! (I had done a shoot almost a year prior with a hot air balloon that sparked her interest.)
It was as I was getting to know more about Sarah’s plans for their intimate wedding, that I decided I wanted to do whatever I could to help make this day EVERYTHING and more for them. Sarah wanted to surprise John by having his twin show up to officiate. Not to mention, they were going to get up in a balloon afterwards! Who could forget that!?!
I asked Sarah for her approval to bring in a videographer, because something this epic needed to be recorded – she agreed! That gem is right here! I am so thankful to Tony Shane for coming in from LA for this, by the way.
Sarah, and John had a pretty stressful couple months leading up to this day. Between having to travel back and forth from Washington to Texas for family emergencies, Sarah also got a case of Bell’s Palsy only weeks before her own wedding! (Which cleared up just in time for the big day by the way!) This would have sent a lot of bride’s into a tailspin (including myself) but Sarah has such a calm about her. I couldn’t help but be inspired by her positivity regarding everything she was experiencing.
The night before the wedding, Sarah sent me a message that both of her parents had previously passed away (I had not known this until that moment). She told me that she was going to be bringing a photo of them on their wedding day, and that she wanted to incorporate that into her photos. I can’t lie, reading her message made me emotional. Once again, I was left inspired by Sarah. A woman who has experience so much, but still every-time I talked with her seemed so happy and at ease with life. And why wouldn’t she be! She has John ❤
The day of Sarah and John’s wedding was absolute perfection. Everything came together without a hitch. It truly was awesome to watch these two share this moment without any pressure. If anyone deserved every ounce of happiness this day had to offer, it was Sarah and John. Simply being able to watch them enjoy it, was quite literally the highlight of my year.
Thank you Sarah and John for including me in your most special of days. It is one I will treasure for years to come. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! ❤❤❤

This is the most beautiful wedding I’ve seen. And the pictures well done
Thank you Jerry!!
It was breathtaking from start to finish and your pictures captured every moment. A job well done by someone who does it with more than just a “point and shoot” attitude. I would recommend you for anything coming our way in the future. Maybe those great great nieces or nephews John and Sarah will give me one day!
