I am so incredibly excited to share Farial and Ben’s down right STUNNING wedding at CopperWynd Resort from this past October!! A couple things to note, this is the longest I have gone without blogging since I think I started blogging! I can’t lie either, it has been TOUGH!! Almost 2 months!!!
Farial and Ben’s wedding is just one of many gorgeous weddings we got to cover this fall, but only until now have we really had the time to start sharing!! And theirs, is the perfect place to start!
I knew these two were going to be something special when we came out to LA for their engagement session, and Farial had informed me that there was going to be confetti involved!! Biodegradable, OF COURSE! ????
These two have such a special place in my heart. From Farial’s infectious laugh, to her obsession with confetti. Oh and she is a fellow vegan! (PS I’m a vegan LOL) Side note: Her and Ben then treated us to vegan sushi, and my taste buds have not been the same since! Life. Changing!!
Given how great of a time we had on our trip, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to have a blast on their wedding day.of course
First of all, Farial hired one of my favorite florists ever Bloom & Blueprint – who DID the damn thing! Please note that ARCH, and the painted cacti!! Oh em gee! ???????????? Along with every other unique, and fun floral addition to the day in the gorgeous setting of Copper Wynd! #dead!
They also had the most heart felt ceremony. Guys, I lost it during this reading from the adorable children’s book, A Lovely Love Story by Edward Monkton,
“The fierce Dinosaur was trapped inside his cage of ice.
Although it was cold he was happy in there. It was, after all, his cage.
Then along came the Lovely Other Dinosaur.
The Lovely Other Dinosaur melted the Dinosaur’s cage with kind words and loving thoughts.
I like this Dinosaur thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.
Although he is fierce he is also tender and he is funny.
He is also quite clever though I will not tell him this for now.
I like this Lovely Other Dinosaur, thought the Dinosaur.
She is beautiful and she is different and she smells so nice.
She is also a free spirit which is a quality I much admire in a Dinosaur.
But he can be so distant and so peculiar at times, thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.
He is also overly fond of things.
Are all Dinosaurs overly fond of things?
But her mind skips from here to there so quickly thought the Dinosaur.
She is also uncommonly keen on shopping.
Are all Lovely Other Dinosaurs so keen on shopping?
I will forgive his peculiarity and his concern for things, thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.
For they are part of what makes him a richly charactered individual.
I will forgive her skipping mind and her fondness for shopping, thought the Dinosaur.
For she fills our life with beautiful thoughts and wonderful surprises.
Besides, I am not unseen on shopping either.
Now the Dinosaur and the Lovely Other Dinosaur are old.
Look at them.
Together they stand on the hill telling each other stories and feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs.
And that, my friends, is how it is with love.
Let us all be Dinosaurs and Lovely Other Dinosaurs together.
For the sun is warm.
And the world is a beautiful place. “
I could honestly go on and on about how perfect this entire day was, instead I’ve included way too many photos to do the talking for me.
I will, however, say this, I consider myself beyond lucky to have been included in Farial and Ben’s most special day. I of course, feel this lucky and fortunate with every couple who books with us. I really do! However, after spending so much time getting to know these two, and legitimately bawling at their ceremony – I think it’s safe to say they are very special to us.
While, they have already received their album, I hope the rest of you enjoy this extremely extended preview!! ????????????
