Dana and Steve’s Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch wedding was our first wedding of the 2019 season, and it did not disappoint! These two were on absolute fire.

First of all, let me just say, cloudy days in Arizona are the best! Honestly, this is the case anywhere, but there is something about getting a break from the harsh Arizona sun that is especially unique. The light is just so soft, and dreamy.

While the light was complete magic, Dana and her stunning wedding gown stole the entire show for me! THAT BOW! That bow. That bow, deserves it’s own paragraph, and so it shall get it.

Over a year ago, when I first met Dana, we immediately bonded over Arizona not being our original home. While Dana is from Philly and I’m from Chicago – anyone East of the Mississippi is someone I feel an instant kinship with. We bonded over the vast differences between where we grew up, and where we are now and in our conversation I realized just how cool Dana is.

I do not throw the word “cool” around loosely either. Dana is so cool. (Crowd: how cool is she?!) Dana is so cool, she sang at her own wedding! I wish I had video, but the pics at the bottom will get the job done.

Dana and Steve, we had the best time getting to know and work with you!! We hope you love all of your photos as much as we do! You are both the very best, and I personally hope this is not the last we see of you!
