Guys!! What a wild ride 2020 has been. On March 15th, when the CDC put out their recommendations on event sizes no larger than 50, we were devastated. We had multiple weddings for the following weekend, and we went into an immediate scramble to reach out to all of our couples for the month of March. It honestly took me hours to even think about April.
For some reason it just seemed impossible that any of this would go that long. And yet, here I am in the month of May, postponing weddings and events through the summer. C R A Z Y !!
With all of that going on, the will to blog, or even talk on social media for work purposes went out the window. Honestly, much of this has been depressing – which is such an eerie feeling in an industry mostly based around happiness. Of course, not even touching on the fact that actual human beings are dying every day. This is a lot, and as a nation we will never be the same.
Of course, none of this is how I imagined I would open up a blog about wonderful Taylor + Blaze and their drop dead stunning wedding. BUT, all of this was looming while their wedding was going on, and yet it feels like I’m looking at photos from some distant past. Photos, that by the way, bring me SO MUCH joy!
I’m so happy we were able to celebrate this day with these two amazing humans at The Paseo. They are legitimately the happiest pair. Reflecting on their photos just fills me with all the feels! Taylor has the best laugh, and her and Blaze’s dance moves are something else! I included as many photos as I could of that 🙂
They also went above and beyond to create as many special moments during the day as they could. Including, first looks with parents and emptying the venue at the end of the night to have one last dance before they left. Truly, a beautiful moment to photograph!
Thanks for stopping by, and make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for a list of the vendors who participated in this day.
