Abby + Max’s Papago Park engagement session was everything and more! I might be the only person in Arizona to fully appreciate a good cloudy day, but photos like this are why! It’s like photographing in an actual soft box 😍
These photos were taken in the month of December, which is usually a time I dedicate to camera cleaning, family and the HOLIDAYS! Meaning, I more or less do not work in the month of December. This has been the case, almost since the inception of Jen Jinkens Photography. ME TIME, is important as a mom, business owner and wife! No exceptions! And we should all implement this type of self care. Trust me, regardless of your industry.
This, however, (LOL) was not the case for 2020! I mean, I had almost the entire summer for, “me time”, LOL I was TIRED of myself by the time December rolled around. So, when the traditional holiday inquiries rolled around along with any others, I was like “HAYYYY!! Let’s do this!”
Abby + Max, kicked off that experience and I was *too* excited to be a part of it! First of all, I knew from the moment I spoke with Abby that we had to work together. She has THE best laugh (even on the phone) and the most gorgeous Australian accent. Admittedly, I think Americans are just obsessed with accents because ours are not great lol. I am Americans 🤣
I love this session from top to bottom. “Bottom”, might be a reference to Abby’s not-so-slick butt grab, that you absolutely should not scroll past!
Oh, and if you notice a tiny man on the mountains in the background in some of the photos, fear not, he was a special request to keep by Max. I also got as close of a close up that I could get, specifically for their album. It should be noted: this man was YODELING from the mountain top for all of us to, enjoy? It may have been a moment one would have to witness to fully appreciate. Either way, a special moment nonetheless! 😅
