Kelsey and Mike’s Mistwood Golf wedding this past summer was simply perfect. When I first spoke with Kelsey, at the beginning of 2022, I knew immediately that we needed to work together! I had just relocated to Chicago, her sister had just relocated to Arizona. We had similar interests, and our sense of humor was definitely identical. Her trust in me was clear, and exactly what I needed to get started in a new market! Let me just say, when clients put their full trust in me, magic occurs! Oh, and spoiler it did!

It did at their wedding, and it did at their engagement session, which we did in the snow!!

We started the day at Kelsey and Mike’s new home, which was Kelsey’s childhood home growing up. Is that not just perfect?! Having such a momentous occasion photographed there is so very special. I’m always honored to be a part of such special moments.

It took awhile for me to get this summer wedding on the blog, but I feel like January is as good a time as any! Especially when the skies are grey, and the photos from this day bring all the warmth to the table.
