Caroline and Nik’s Paradise Valley Country Club wedding will go down as one of the most epic weddings of 2019 for sure!!

I remember when I first met with these two. Caroline told me the story of how her and Nik had met (hint there was a golf cart involved). I remember thinking how cute their story was, and then she told that they were going to try and have fireworks and I was like, SOLD! WHERE DO I SIGN?!

Honesty, who doesn’t love a good golf cart story AND fireworks!?

It’s been like a fairy tail of a photo stream since then.

Between their gorgeous fall engagement session in Flagstaff, to their stunning wedding – which included the band actually singing Neil Diamond’s, Sweet Caroline TO CAROLINE (epic) – Caroline and Nik’s awesome personalities are why we could not have been happier to have the opportunity to work with these two!

While we have caught so many pretty, and downright fun moments on camera with these two, my all time favorite is Caroline and her dad practicing their dad and daughter dance before the grand entrance. I was setting up my lighting inside the reception space, while guests were finding their seats. I happened to glance outside and caught them practicing, and literally darted across the room and through the doors.

Having two little ones myself, THOSE are the moments I LIVE for at weddings. No matter how many weddings we attend, vows and dances with parents always choke me up. It’s probably because, amidst all of the moments we work to create on a wedding day (flowers, decor, venue, etc.) The vows during the ceremony, and the parent dances are usually where people let it all out. And it’s where you’ll find me blubbering behind my camera.

We actually just delivered this album out yesterday, but we just HAD to blog it for you all!! Congratulations again, Caroline and Nik!! We wish you all the happiness in the world!!
